First Things First

So Andrew is teaching Briley the finer things in life. That is the proper way to eat cookies. When ever Andrew gets cookies out whether it be oreo's or any other type of cookie and milk, Briley knows what he is going to do and asks if she can have some. Here are a few pictures I took the other night when these two are dippin' buddies.

Notice Briley has her own cup of milk and own cookie. Andrew does not share much any more because she can fit a whole oreo in her mouth and
I think Andrew was tired of not getting much cookie. This is great father daughter bonding time!

Aren't they cute! Both of them happy to have cookies and milk, nothing gets much better than this.

They grow up so fast

I can't believe how fast kids can grow up.
I look at this picture of Parker and he is only 6 months old
and he looks so much older. My little baby boy is turning into
a little boy.

I love it when Briley wants to help. This is the day that we
baked cookies and made rolls. I must have had some patients
that day. She turned to me and asked if we could make cookies
to take to "neise" (denise our neighbor) and "lisa" her
nursery teacher.

Aren't they cute! I know I am such a nerd
carrying my camera everywhere. But you never know
when there is going to be a cute picture. Not the first
or the last pic in a grocery store.

Think she has enough stuff? 3 bags, a stroller and a
wagon thing. I think she said that she was going to
school. All three bags are packed with something too.

Don't you all want to kiss those cheeks and pinch
those pudgy little arms.

It's springtime!

It is finally spring time, I think, I hope! Grandma Parry wanted to plant her garden so for Family Home Evening we all went out to lend a hand. Briley loves to help, especially if she can plan in the dirt.

She was given her own shovel and a place to dig.
She was content and it kept her busy and out of the way for a little bit.

Parker even enjoyed the fresh air and being outside.
There is just something about being outside that is so nice.
What a happy face!

Chilling out in the sunshine once more.
It was bright so we needed to get some shades on this boy.
He even kept them on.

My two little munchkins chillin' on a nice spring day!
We have to enjoy them while they are here.
Who knows what the weather is going to be like tomorrow.

Where does the time go?

Here I am again trying to catch up. I don't know what I have been doing or where my time has gone but I cannot keep up with my blog. Sorry all of you who keep checking and nothing is new. Here we go. The beginning of the month Briley did a 100 meter race. One of the Pediatricians in her doctors office puts in on. She was not really excited at first to race but she participated and did great!

Then after the race we were off to the zoo with good friends. Thanks Jed, Jill and Milo for making our Hogle Zoo experience so much fun. Briley was much more excited to see the animals than run a race.

As you can see Parker's zoo experience was good too. He actually enjoyed himself most of the time and as always found time to take a little nap.
What a fun time!

time to catch up

Where did the time go? I guess I have been busy. Don't ask what I have been doing just not blogging and having fun. Well here a bunch of pics to catch everyone up on what we have been up to. Let's start with Fishing. Up Spanish Fork canyon they are doing free fishing nights for kids. We did not catch anything but maybe another night we will.

Parker is getting so big, and I don't mean size wise either. He is almost 6 months old. But the other day we went to the store, Maceys, Briley's favorite because they give out free balloons and candy. I put parker in the cart with Briley. Here is my big boy with his big sis...We have also gone to the park one warm sunny day. Both kids loved getting out and having fun. Briley loves going down the slide. She is getting big enough that she can climb up the stairs and go down the slide all by herself. It is so fun to watch. As for Parker, this was his first outing at the park and the first time in a swing. He absolutely loved it. He was smiling from ear to ear and laughing. Briley was such a good big sister and even pushed him in the swing.

This last week was spring break for the kids. Our good friends the Orton's went to a place called Jumpin' Jacks. They invited Briley and me to go along. It was so much fun for her. It was full of these blow up slides and things. Briley had so much fun running and jumping and sliding. Thank you Tyson, Callie, Brooke and Madie we had so much fun! And THANK YOU Marci for spending your Birthday with us.

Ok just one more picture. This one is where Parker is helping me with the bills Did I mention that Parker is sitting up. He has started doing this fun little trick now for a few weeks. He is getting pretty good at it. He isn't falling as much, he's more steady and can sit for quite a while.

Story Time

Briley loves to go to story time. We go to the library here in Mapleton. There are about 10-15 kids that go every week. It is twice a week which is great because it gets us out of the house and it has been really good for Briley to learn to get along with others, hold still, and they always have an activity afterwards. Today for Story Time they did watercolors. It is the second time it has been done. I think it is great because I would have never let Briley mess with these until she was older but it is great fun for her. This is the picture she did today. I only put her name on it and the date. She did everything else. Notice the yellow heart!

Easter outfits

Easter was a lot of fun this year with Briley. Now that she is getting older and starting to understand holidays a little more it is that much more fun. Easter for her is associated with easter eggs. She got to go on a couple different easter egg hunts this year. We tried to explain the true meaning of easter but it isn't as interesting as easter eggs. Maybe next year we will have more luck. Here are the my two munchkins in their easter outfits.
