YEAH a new post
For all of you who thought I had fallen off the face of the earth I did not. Or if you thought that I was never going to blog again, you my friend are wrong. We do not have internet since we moved and so I am limited to when I can get online. Usually it is late at night after the kids have gone to bed and then I need to get on Andrews laptop to do anything "online" that I need to do. By that time I usually decide it is not worth getting online for anything and I just go to bed. Well not tonight. Things are crazy as ever. I am waiting for summer to come and the sun to come out for good so we can go to seven peaks and enjoy the summer. Although I have to say that the rain has been a nice change. I do love the smell of rain. The kids and I have just been enjoying the warm days that we have by playing out back in the yard and going on walks. Andrew is still plugging away at work.
This last weekend Briley and Parker did a fun run up Provo Canyon. It is a fund raiser put on by one of the pediatricians that works in Springville. She has been putting on this race for 3 years and all the proceeds go to help the Children in Africa. This year they are builing a center for education and purchasing mesquito nets. Over the years the money has helped with immunizations, clothing and items that are needed for the children. The nice thing is that 100% of the proceeds go to this organization. So this is the second year that Briley has participated and the first for Parker. It was raining during the race but the kids were good sports and had fun.
Briley just finished her 1/4 mile run
After the race each child recieved a ribbon and a prize

Yes, I am a SLACKER!
Hey everyone I am so terrible at this whole blogging thing. I do have a good excuse though. Besides the Twilight Saga. We MOVED. Yes we are no longer in my parents home we are now in our own place. We are renting a house. We have some great friends that are letting us rent their home from them while they are trying to sell it. It is a win-win situation for both of us. We have been working on this move for a bit now and then the actual moving process is taking forever. We are in however and the kids love the room that we have. It is really nice to have room to put all of our stuff. We are still close to Grandma and Pops so the kids love that. But since we have moved into our own place we do not have internet set up yet so I will continue to be a slacker with the blogging thing. I do apologize in advance though. But keep checking back and I will try to post soon, with pictures I promise.

okay, okay an Update
Alright everyone leave me alone. I know that I have not updated my blog in forever but the holidays really messed me up and then I started the TWILIGHT BOOKS. For those of you who have read it you know what I am talking about. And for those of you who have not you really should. So here I am taking a break in book number 3 to update everyone. He is a quick glance of what has happened since November.
We went to California the first week of December. (Which is one thing that really messed me up on the whole time thing.) We went to visit our good friends Tyler and Erin and their two beautiful girls Hannah and Molly. They are only a couple months younger than Briley so the three girls had a really good time playing together. I will do another post of what we did and some pictures of that later. Check back for that.
Then Christmas came and went. The kids got spoiled of course. Briley this year wanted a red kitchen. We saw one at Costco and that is what she wanted. Don't forget the emphasis on RED. Then we saw Santa at the mall a couple weeks before Christmas and she "changed her mind" about wanting a red kitchen, She now wanted her very own Christmas Tree. That is what she told santa. Then when we were at a different mall she saw Santa again a couple days before Christmas and she "changed her mind again" and now wanted a baby with her own car seat. Luckly Santa was somewhat prepared and was able to bring her all three. She was very lucky this year. We will have to do something differnent in the years to come otherwise there will be some disappointed girl. As for Parker he was just getting the hang of opening present this year. Next year will be much more fun for him. I think I finally have orgainized the toys enough to walk through the living room. They got way to many. As for Andrew and I we had a very nice Christmas. I got Andrew a new watch. He actually likes it too! Andrew was very kind to me this year. Although he was still shopping for me on Christmas eve he redemed himself and got me.....
Yes it really is a Tiffany's box. He got me the heart bracelet. He even had my initial engraved on it. It was difficult for him to press the send button on the computer when he saw the subtotal but he was able to do it. And I love it. Thank you so much sweetie. I love you!
Now here we are at a new year. 2009 can you believe it. This year should be exciting for us. Hopefully we will get into a house this year, Briley is now a sunbeam, and she is so excited to be in Primary. You should see her, she is so cute. And Parker will hopefully start talking soon. What a great year of things to look forward too. Hopefully a nice vacation in there too! I hope everyone has a great 2009 year planned too!

Escalante, UT
This last week we went to Escalante, UT with some good friends. We left on Wednesday and came back on Saturday. We had so much fun! Thanks Jed, Jill and Milo for inviting us to go with you! On Thursday we went on a 6 mile hike to calf creek falls. Thanks to Marci for letting us borrow her stroller, and an even bigger thanks to Jed and Andrew for enduring the hike with the stroller. They had to carry the stroller during parts of the hike with kids in it because the trail was too narrow or there were boulders on the trail. Andrew and Jed were amazing. We would not have made it without them and their strength! Thanks again! On Friday we went to a place called the Devils Garden. It has "hoodoos" all over. The kids loved it because there was lots of sand to play in. We just let them play as the boys went exploring to find the arch and some fun places to take pictures. The kids not only had fun playing in the sand but also climbing on the hoodoos. We took Diddy with us and he even loved climbing all over the rocks. The weather was perfect to spend the day out in the sun exploring. Before we knew it it was Saturday. It had been so nice to be on vacation. It was much needed. On our way home we stopped in Bryce Canyon to see an Arch. It was really pretty. We found this little rock ledge to sit on and we all took pictures on it. Then back home. Once again I would like to say thank you Jed and Jill for inviting us to join you on this little trip. We had so much fun.
